No. You should not use Windows Format to modify your TARGA MP3 player or the device will not function properly as a MP3 player. Using Windows Format program will format your TARGA MP3 player as a standard USB storage-only device. You will then be able to still use the player error for file transfer, but it will not function properly when you attach it to the battery module as a MP3 player.
